Bringing Coaches to Christ in Makambako, Tanzania

For the past three days, our Tanzania FC Grace instructors, Terry and Rutta held an FC Grace conference

and 41 coaches in Makambako heard the core message for the first time. Many of these young men shared testimonies and struggles with life, with each other. Coaches are traditionally in competition with each other but to come together and break spiritual ground is amazing. In addition, many of these young men have no one to mentor or love them, so this was a very unique and wonderful experience for them. The older gentleman who is in a yellow jersey (upper right) is 72 years old, stood up and admitted to hurting many players and coaches because of poor decisions from selfishness. He asked for forgiveness from the coaches and committed to devoting himself to caring for many of these young men.

Bob is coaching and mentoring the FC Grace instructors like Terry and Rutta on how to evangelize. Mazambako was their first opportunity. Terry presented the Jesus breaking the line diagram to free us from sin and flesh and five coaches received Jesus! God is moving these coaches and we are asking for prayers for more of these coaches to receive Jesus, and that they would reach out to our spirit-filled instructors for life guidance, mentorship and friendship.
