Triangle and Ball Redeemed Diagram 12
These are the 12th and final diagrams presented. The purpose of these diagrams is to:
-
Explain the differences in the redeemed Circle/Ball diagram
-
Describe how a life with Jesus changes our communication with God and each other
(We return back to the Circle/Ball diagram and Ultimate Coach diagram/ Triangle because we want to come full circle to the start of the conference. The Ultimate Coach/Triangle is our goal. NOTE: Start by redrawing the Circle/Ball diagram since there are significant changes – see below).
The Circle/Ball Redeemed Script
When we have committed our lives to Jesus, accepted him as our Lord and Savior we received the Holy Spirit. We have a new spirit. Since the spirit is what is most true about us, this signifies a totally new creation for you and me, and we are complete and right with God as 2 Corinthians 5:17 says. God joins our spirit, which was previously dead to God, with the Holy Spirit. Our eternal home is there and ready for us. We are no longer condemned at judgement concerning our future; we are accepted, we are children of God.
Holy Spirit has the power and ability within us to transform our lives in accordance with Jesus, who he is. We now have another option, to choose to look to the completed work of Jesus and wholly trusting Holy Spirit within or continue in our old habits relying on the flesh and the temporary things of this world. This process of transformation is called sanctification - learning how to daily rely on, trust in, and be obedient to God. We are learning to live more and more above the line.
Sin no longer has dominion over our lives and with it, the judgement that ultimately comes to everyone. The accuser has nothing on you because you are complete and justified in God’s eyes. Sin has been cut off. This does not mean you will never sin again. It means that sin is no longer your master. As we move more and more into God’s will for every part of our lives, sin shrinks. Its influence shrinks.
The Triangle Redeemed Script
We return back to the Triangle because we want to return to the start of the conference. The triangle is our goal.)
Let’s take a new look at the Ultimate Coach. The first thing I notice is that there is no one between you and God. What does this mean? You have access to the trinity of Father, Son and Holy Spirit. You have direct access to God. God created you in his image to have relationship with you. He desires to have perfect, straight-line relationship with you.
The Ultimate coach is not perfect. But the Ultimate Coach knows who he is and what he is and who his Lord is. He is on a journey to get closer to God each and every day. To learn obedience, to allow God’s Word to have authority over his life, and act out in obedience to that Word.. To point to God in all his relationships. He is a good influencer. People, players, friends come to him because he carries the Holy Spirt inwardly and expresses Him, His light, outwardly to a dark world. He is a motivator, encourager, listens and watches. He is aware of his relationships and walks in great compassion and sensitivity. He is trusting and stands for justice.
He is determined to submit himself to the promises and commands of Jesus. He studies the word so that the word of God become Him. He seeks God in all things, asking God for help and always acknowledging Him with thanksgiving. He is humble and meek. He does not assert his authority over others but loves them with grace. He seeks unity in the spirit with all people often at a personal sacrifice. He cares for his players off the field more than on the field.
Final Testimony Opportunity:
We are all a work in progress. Testimony reflects the change in our life away from sin and flesh and into the straight line with daily walk with God. Share what does this look like for you.
